Commit to the Gamma Alpha Campaign today
Did you know the last major update to the KA mansion was almost 30 years ago? The Mansion is currently in very poor repair and
time has come for us to give back.
The Kappa Alpha Mansion, which has served as a competitive recruitment tool during so many Fall rush campaigns and hosted an untold number of social events, has now become a liability. This condition is not related to any one event or any group of members but rather a consistent decline over the last 30 years. Housing 20 men and hosting the best social events on campus takes a toll on a house. Weather and time have also played a significant part. The active chapter made the difficult decision to host rush functions away from the house last fall due to the condition of our house. This is unacceptable for us. The current actives and the future of Gamma Alpha chapter deserve much better.
Over the last 18 months the Gamma Alpha House Corp. has met with architects, builders, and campus officials to determine how to best correct our current housing situation. After weighing a number of potential solutions, careful consideration, and much debate, we have determined a totally new house would not best serve our chapter at this time. The House Corp. feels the chapter will be best served by updating our current structure. This update will include new doors, flooring, and landscaping. We feel this “facelift” will serve our chapter well for the next 10 years and give the active members an ideal location to host events and house the young men. We have begun this project and would like to finish prior to Fall rush.
The Gamma Alpha Housing Corp has made the decision to begin The Gamma Alpha Alumni Campaign to raise funds for this important project. This will be our chapter’s first significant campaign in over 30 years.

Please make all checks payable to Gamma Alpha Housing Corp. If you would like to spread your donation over a period of time, we will be happy to work with you to make this happen. Just let one of us know and we will guide you thru the simple process. All donations will be personally responded upon and recognition will be made both during our Tech Homecoming event, in our Gamma Alpha Alumni Chapter Fall update, and special recognition during our Annual Golf Tournament in March 2012.
